KRAFT Foods Drops Glenn Beck
Here is the message posted on this site regarding KRAFT foods regarding dropping Glenn Beck: [NOTE: I have confirmed that this message originated from Kraft Foods and is authentic.]“
We came across your blog and would like to share Kraft Foods’ position. Our goal is to give you, and all of our consumers, high-quality products and to market them responsibly and sensibly at all times.
We have a longstanding policy not to advertise on programs with extreme or inflammatory content on any network. In recent years, there has been a proliferation of shows with extreme content, including on the political front. These shows often are controversial and do not align with our company or brand values. We do not want to become associated with controversy simply because of the placement of a 30-second spot. That’s why we have made the decision to stop advertising on the more politically extreme programs, including The Glenn Beck Show, on all networks.
We’re sorry that you were disappointed and we hope you’ll be pleased with our future sponsorship choices.

Kraft Foods Representative

Mayonnaise is politically neutral. Good move on Kraft’s part.
The Right’s hard line on guns, corporation support and apple pie (tea bags) will take note of dropped sponsors. Even Bin Laden needs funding. That’s what they understand. See how their 1% wealthy ones take care of them when they need it.

I would like to see people organise a boycott agianst all of 40-some companies who are participating in this effort to silence political dissent.
While US Democrats celebrate Kennedy after he accused Justice(then nominee) Ailito of being a racist they condemn beck for saying the same thing about President Obama. Yet is is Obama that has the longstanding relationship with an open racist (Rev Wright) while claiming wright was his spiritual mentor.
Enough is enough. I will not buy a thing from these 40 companies and plan to encourage the same from others.
Boycott the supressors.

Ten New Companies Pledge Not to Run Additional Ads on Glenn Beck Program « The Gholston Post

Kinda interesting how the right wing posters here are suddenly AGAINST legitimate business interests. Seems they don’t approve of the businesses who adhere to principles of the free market after all – especially the one called HONESTY. Funny how they think billion dollar criminals are OK – defending as they do “corporate rights” when it comes to selling phony securities and giving $20 million dollar bonuses to execs at failed companies which exist today ONLY because “Big Government” and the U.S. taxpayers bailed them out.
Funny how poorly informed they are about History: Glen Beck is the logical extension of Father Coughlin, the “Radio Priest” who promoted Hitler’s agenda – until we went to war against Germany. (That’s when the Church put the muzzle on their Nazi-promoting priest.) Coughlin wouldn’t have gotten anywhere if there hadn’t been uneducated dumb-asses to follw him – just like the dumbasses of today follow Beck and his “colleagues” on Fox News.
It’s about ECONOMICS you right-wing morons: the market has decided it doesn’t like Glen Beck. You’ve been kicked in the ass by your own “principles” – accept that and shut the hell up.

It’s amazing that 4Truth is talking about failing execs with tens of thousands of employees under their wing, getting millions in bonuses, yet the left wing ‘crew’ has done nothing but rack up more debt, there’s your economics. You don’t want ‘phony securities’ stop buying stocks, moron. Maybe you should lobby your House Representatives to give back their received lobbying monies and salaries and their kickbacks, oh, but that wouldn’t benefit you much. They would have to find some other saps to pay their lies ahead. By the way, where are the promised jobs, probably right there with the recent 500,000 in layoffs – should have seen it coming.
Let’s not comment about logical connections when Hitler would televise to the youth, because “[He] has a good message for their future.” Wait why does that sound familiar? Was it the no blackout requirement by many schools for a special announcement by ‘their leader’? Or maybe it was the more than $100 million spent to get that ever so important message out. You’re right, stick the “truth” news on major stations; they always seem to come back around to fix their stories months later.
