Closing.com Will No Longer Have Ads Run During Glenn Beck
Closing.com confirms that their ads will no longer appear on Glenn Beck’s show. Here’s the email, I received from their Director of Customer Care:
Thank you for taking the time to contact us. Our TV commercial on Fox News yesterday was purchased on a “run of schedule” rotation basis, which gives the network sole discretion for scheduling the time and day that the ad appears. We did not make the choice to sponsor any particular program, nor do we condone the views of any program host on any of the cable networks where we have purchased commercial air time.
Fox News has agreed to place our advertising elsewhere in their rotation.
We sincerely appreciate your input.

I will of course no longer patronize those companies who have sought to limit free speech by pulling ads. These 50 companies will no longer receive my business. I am happy you have given me their names so I can avoid them.

Freedom of Speech does not mean the right to shout “FIRE!” in a crowded theater. The right to free expression does not convey the right to destroy public or private property as a means of expression. We must stop the verbal destruction of our country.
